Christine Tsui, MA, LMHC

Christine TsuiI am experienced in treating a variety of mental health disorders and work with children, adolescents and adults. My goal is to partner with my clients to work through various mental health issues, and move beyond their pain and distress so that they may experience more health and well-being in their lives. I feel honored and privileged to be on healing journeys with my clients.  Additionally I am fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, loss and grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, family of origin issues and life transitions. With compassion and empathy, I create a safe environment of trust, where together we explore and work through the underlying causes of emotional and sometimes physical pain.

I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing on a variety of Eastern and Western philosophies as well as evidence-based treatment models. Mindfulness and personal growth are important aspects of the work I do. I incorporate art and creativity when it is appropriate and relevant to the therapeutic process. I am also trained in EMDR, DBT and hypnotherapy.

Education:  Christine graduated from Saybrook University and has a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Languages:  English, Mandarin and Cantonese
