Throughout her career, Wendy has supported individuals and families experiencing immigration and acculturation stress, depression, anxiety, complex and developmental trauma, PTSD, psychotic disorders, parenting concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

Philosophy & Therapeutic Approach

Wendy has received extensive training in the Satir Model since 1988 and has facilitated numerous professional workshops in both Taiwan and the United States. Following her cross-cultural marriage and immigration, she completed advanced training through the Northwest Satir Institute. She began formal EMDR training in 2014 and thoughtfully integrates EMDR with her broader clinical training to provide comprehensive, individualized, and compassionate care.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Wendy is deeply committed to ethical, collaborative, and client-centered therapy. She strives to create a safe, structured, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected.

Her integrative approach combines the Satir Model with evidence-based EMDR and trauma-informed care to help clients move from survival toward healing, resilience, and meaningful personal growth. She reinforces the belief that clients are not defined by their struggles, but by their inherent strengths, wisdom, and capacity for change.
