Li-Hsuan believes in finding meaning in difficult situations and cultivating strength when it seems impossible. She values acceptance, self-efficacy and efficiency. She sees emotions and struggles as messengers, and she brainstorms with the client to find effective ways to manage challenges.

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Li-Hsuan came to the U.S.. to pursue her master’s degree. She experienced firsthand the struggle of being an international student,  the “return home or stay” dilemma, acculturation, and search of self-identity. Prior to joining ACRS, she worked as a clinical social worker role in various settings. She joined ACRS in 2015 and gained extensive clinical experiences working with adults managing depression, anxiety, stress in life, acculturation difficulties, and relational issues. She also supported clients with self-exploration, empowerment and self-acceptance.

Education: Li-Hsuan graduated from Pepperdine University with a master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
